Who we are

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, combines excellence in cancer care and research with an environment characterized by kindness, caring, and hope.

The Center admitted its first patient in 1986 and now conducts nearly 600,000 outpatient visits per year. Moffitt is a Comprehensive Cancer Center as designated by the National Cancer Institute, the only one based in Florida.

Our approach

In addition to offering state-of-the-art cancer treatment to adults with all types of cancer, Moffitt has a strong commitment to cancer prevention and screening, community outreach and education, and is a leader in research in critical areas such as molecular oncology and drug discovery, immunology, experimental therapeutics, and cancer epidemiology.

Moffitt operates the Southeast’s largest Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Program.
